Donna L. Burke

Donna L. Burke, 60, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly at Genesis Hospital, CCU on April 23, 2014. Donna was born in Akron, Ohio on January 2, 1954 the daughter of the late Richard Don and Ethel (Kosa) Athey. She was an active member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, North Congregation in Zanesville and she enjoyed gardening and spending time around her fire pit with friends and family. Donna is survived by her son Ray Burke (Heidi) of Columbus, her daughter Tara Burke of Zanesville; her grandchildren Aiden, Austin, Marissa and Sydney; her great granddaughter Ava; her special friends Mariann Grimm of Zanesville and Giesela Smith of Zanesville and her special mother-in-law and father-in-law Bill and Wilma Burke. In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her brother Richard Athey and her two sisters Sandy Athey and Linda Kopchak. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, North Congregation, 5455 Frazeysburg Road, Zanesville, 2 pm Saturday April 26, 2014 with Sean Ragsdale officiating. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls was entrusted with arrangements.
