Donna Jean (Banfield) Mccall

Donna Jean McCall passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 while in the care of Mt. Carmel East Hospital surrounded by the loving presence of her family; she was 81 years old.  Jean was born in Norwich, Ohio on May 18, 1936 to Glen and Christine Banfield.  She enjoyed golfing, and was an avid bowler, but most of all was a true John Glenn Sports fan.  She was a member of the Norwich United Methodist Church, the Norwich United Methodist Women, Norwich CCL, and was a 4-H advisor for many years.  She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and proud grandmother; she cherished her family deeply.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Bill McCall, her children, Lisa (John) West, Kathy (Mark) Pattison, Steve (Tami) McCall; she also leaves to cherish her memory her beloved grandchildren including Mike (Kristie) West, Matt (Gina) West, Ross (Tiffany) Pattison, Adam (Abbey) Pattison, Andrew McCall, Austin (Krystal) McCall, and her great-grandchildren Taelor & Jadyn Holt, Brantleigh West, Maggie Grace Pattison, and Abbigail & Colton McCall.  She will be deeply missed by her sister, Joan Neff, and several nieces and nephews.  Jean is preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, David William McCall, her sister, Janet White, and her grandson, Ethan West.

Friends and family are invited to attend Calling hours for Jean at the Farus Funeral home of New Concord on Monday July 17 from 2-4 and 6-8.  Services will follow on Tuesday the 18th at 11AM, and burial will be held at the Norwich United Presbyterian Cemetery.  Steve McCall will officiate services.
