Donald Lee Mccormick

Donald L. McCormick, 65 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2021, while at home and surround by his loving daughters.

Donny was born in Youngstown on May 2, 1956. He is the son the of late Harold and Rosie (Pettry) McCormick. Donny worked as a truck driver for Zanesville Pilot for many years. He was a member of the Cornerstone Full Gospel Church. Donny loved to work in his garage, he always enjoyed spending time fishing, and he loved being with his family. Donny proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Donny is survived by his children, Donald F. McCormick, Kristi (Dustin) Creeks, Kelly (Chris Hale) Young, and Ashley (Jeremy) Martin; his step-daughter, Tana (Justin) Little; his grandchildren, Austin Bollinger, Tanner Wisecarver, Malachi Young, Makiah Young, Wyatt Hale, Preston Starr, Olivia McGraw, Parker McGraw, Ty Moorehead, Cameron Kuhn, Katherine Kuhn, and Harmoney Raver; his great-grandchildren, Hudson Starr, Annabelle Kuhn, Damien Kuhn, Emmitt Gross, and Koa Gross; his twin-brother, Danny (Marge) McCormick; his siblings, Helen (Larry) Parker, Debbie Schultz, and Homer McCormick; his many nieces and nephews; and his friend and “son”, Dale (Tiffany) Jones.

In addition to his parents, Donny is preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, Robin McCormick, who passed away on November 1, 2021.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kim Temple for the compassionate care she provided for Donny.

Visitations will be Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 3pm to 5 pm at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held following visitations at 5pm. Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate the service. Donny will receive full military honors by George Selsam VFW Post #1058, Zanesville American Legion Post #29, and the United States Army Honor Guard.
