Denny Ault

Denny Ault, 89 of Duncan Falls, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024, at the Oaks at Northpointe surrounded by his loving family.

Denny was born on May 30, 1934, in Roseville, Ohio. He is the son of the late Emory Dennis and Lucille (Goody) Ault.  He attended the Duncan Falls Baptist Church.  He worked for McGraw Eddison as an electrician.  He enjoyed flying model airplanes, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and fishing.  He was previous a member of the Crooksville Eagles and the American Legion Post #29.  Denny proudly served his country in the United States Marines serving in Korea during the Korean Conflict.

Denny is survived by his children, Jeffrey A. (Patty) Ault, Gregory D. (Sherry) Ault, and Steven L. (Anna) Ault; grandchildren, Jessica, Krista, Jason, Cory, Brent Coffey, and Brianna Hood; several great grandchildren; and his k-9 companion, Payne.

In addition to his parents, Denny is preceded in death by his wife of sixty years, Lois “Joan” (Henderson) Ault, who passed away on December 27, 2017; his two brothers, Jerry and Tom; and his sisters, Lula and Shirley and his twin sister, Jenny.

The family would like to give a special Thank You to Hospice of Central Ohio and also to the staff at the Oaks at Northpointe in Zanesville for their exceptional care of Denny over the last years.

Visitations for Denny will be held from 9:30 am to 11 am on Monday, February 19, 2024, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be held at 11 am with Pastor Gerry Wade will officiate the service. Denny will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Duncan Falls Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by the George Selsam VFW Post #1058, The American Legion Post #29 and the US Marine Corps Color Guard.
