Delores "Dee" C. Webb

Delores “Dee” Catherine Webb, 87 of New Concord, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, January 30, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Dee was born on January 9, 1938, in Zanesville to the late Lafe and Frances (Meckley) Gassaway. Her main love was her family. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed by many. Dee had a passion for cooking, watching westerns, and playing cards. She was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns Football and the Cincinnati Reds Baseball teams.

Dee is survived by her children, Deb (Jim) Warren, Catherine Short, James (Brenda) Webb, Franklin (Samantha) Webb; her grandchildren, Christopher (Lisa) Warren, Molly (Ritchie) White, Jeremiah (Cy) Warren, Katie Warren, Shawna (Matthew) Guttowsky, Brandi (Andrew) Brumit, Melissa (Jeremiah) Shover, Sherry (Aaron) Payton, Alison (Josh) Martinez, Charles (Alex) Webb, Taylor (Kade) Johnson, and Emily Webb; her thirty-two great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; her two siblings, Ella Caudill and Franklin Gassaway; her sister-in-laws, Dee Mason, Shirley Snyder, Beck Gebhart, Norma Wilson, and Marlene Wolsalinger; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dee is preceded in death by her husband, James Webb, whom she married on February 22, 1952, and who passed away in 1998; her son-in-law, Jerry Short; as well as several siblings.

A small graveside service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at the Stovertown Lutheran Church Cemetery, 6575 Center Road, Philo, Ohio 43771, where Dee will be laid to rest alongside James.
