Delmar Lee Parker

Delmar Lee "Doc" Parker 77, of Philo, passed away at 8:10 pm on February 10th 2013 at his residence. Doc was born in Blue Rock on November 28, 1935 the son of the late Albert and Cleo (Wallace) Parker. He retired from the Ohio Ferro Alloy in Philo and also for Tom Shook Excavating where he was an equipment operator. He was a life time member of the Salt Creek Beagle Club, a life time member of the High Hill Sportmans Club and he previous attended the Rural Dale United Methodist Church. Doc is survived by his nieces Tammy (Douglas) Bragg, Janet Gill and Cathy (Wayne) Wickham and his great-nieces and nephews Heather Gibson, Catherine Russell and Shawn and Jeremy Bragg. In addition to his parents, Doc is preceded in death by his brother Howard L. Parker and his sister Gladys Pletcher. Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Wednesday February 13, 2013 at the Farus Funeral Home, Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 11 am Thursday with Pastor Stephen Harrop officiating.
