Debra "Deb" Wheeler

Debra “Deb” Wheeler, 67 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2024 at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center in Columbus surrounded by her loving family.

Deb was born in Zanesville on July 14, 1956.  She is the daughter of the late Vincent E. and Rita M. (Bryan) Sigrist.  She was a 1974 graduate of Philo High School.  Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, which she was very proud of all the accomplishments that they have achieved.  Deb cherished all the time she spent with them especially watching them grow and develop through their sporting events.  When she wasn’t at a ballfield, she enjoyed cooking for family and spending time at the casino.

Deb is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jeffrey Wheeler Sr. whom she married October 30, 1976; her children, Jadie (Kim) Wheeler, Julie (Chad) Joseph, and Jeffrey “J.J.” (Ashlee) Wheeler Jr.; her grandchildren, Chloe, Bailey, Sydney and Gracie Joseph, Txanthon and Palmer Wheeler; her brother, Craig (Lori) Sigrist and her sister, Terri (Dave) Carletti.

A caring cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time.  The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Wheeler family.
