Deanna Rose Lyons
February 6, 1942 — August 23, 2017
Deanna Rose Lyons, 75 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 23, 2017 while under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio.
Deanna was born in Klitschko, VA. on February 6, 1942. She is the daughter of the late Sara (Moore) Munn. She retired from United Technologies where she worked as an inspector and she is a member of Cornerstone Full Gospel Church.
Deanna is survived by her daughter Susan Taylor and her son Gregory Lyons both of Zanesville; her grandchildren Sara Johnson, Okey Johnson, Chadd Lyons, Mark Lyons Jr., Jeremy Lyons and Landon Lyons; her great-grandchildren Brayonnia Johnson, Kamryn Straughter, Gavin Lyons, Kaleb Lyons, Trevor Lyons, Jeremy Lyons Jr. and Josie Lyons and her brother David and Peggy Moore of Newark.
In addition to her mother, Deanna is preceded in death by her husband Lynn Lyons, who passed away in 1983; her son Mark Lyons, her great-grandson Kayson Straughter and her special friend Henry Brugh.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Deanna from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home, 383 Main Street, Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating. She will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
