Dean F. Tysinger, 90 of Chandlersville, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2025 at Beckett House with his loving family at his side.
Dean was born on July 22, 1934, in Deavertown, Ohio, to Robert and Jossie (Rambo) Tysinger. After 40 years of dedicated service with the Oxford Oil Company, he retired in 1996 as a field supervisor. A lifelong area farmer, he also cherished his fishing trips to Lake Erie. Dean was a proud member of the Chandlersville United Methodist Church and the Ohio Oil and Gas Association. He also honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.
Dean is survived by his two children, Tim Tysinger and Tonia and Dave Porter; grandchildren, Timmy (Sarah) Tysinger, Katie (David) Fuller, Todd (Shawna) Howard, Tyler (Trista) Howard, Kyle (Kelly) Porter, Kasey (Tiffany Bruce) Porter; his great grandchildren, Taylee, Tripp, Atley, Finley, Lilly, Blaine, Hudson, Hank, Hollie, Kinley, Kennadie, Keston, Madison, Ashlin, and Alex; ½ sister, Kay Hedges; his brother in law, Carl Longstreth and family member, Margie Tysinger.
In addition to his parents, Dean is preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Donna (Miller) Tysinger, who passed away January 22, 2023; his siblings, Mary Reed, Betty Williams, Robert Tysinger Jr., Delmar Tysinger and John William Tysinger.

Visitations will be 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services will be at the funeral home 11 am Monday. Pastor Eddie Warne will officiate the service. Dean will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Duncan Falls Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by George Selsam VFW Post #1058 and the US Army Color Guard.
