David M. Pierce

David M. Pierce, 65 of Zanesville, passed away at 8:28 pm, Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Genesis Good Samaritan Medical Center.Dave was born March 17, 1948 in Zanesville, the son of the late John E. and Faye E. (Rush) Pierce.He was owner and operator of the Putnam Tavern and New To You Motor Sales on Putnam Avenue, he was a previous owner of Hideaway / Pastime CafAC. and the Owens Tavern.He helped start up the Vietnam Veterans Bike Show in 1981 and he was an avid pool player. Dave is survived by his wife Linda (Ballman) Pierce whom he married Dec 20, 1969; his children Michelle Pierce of Zanesville; his granddaughter Ashley F. Pierce of the home, Amanda Dobbins, David Dobbins, Tamera Robertson and Tabby Jenkins and one great-grandson Koda Dobbins; his brother Robert W. (Anna) Pierce of Zanesville; a lifelong friend Roger Durst and his extended family and friends.A
