David A. Mclain

David A. McLain, 73 of Duncan Falls, passed away peacefully on February 13, 2022 at Genesis Hospital.

Dave was born on October 21, 1948 in Columbus, Ohio.  He is the son of the late Robert A. and M. Karlene (Zimmerman) McLain.  He worked for many years as a truck driver, retiring in 2012 from J.W. Stenger Trucking and he also worked for J.T. Sands Trucking in Zanesville.  He served his country in the US Navy.

Dave is survived by his wife, Sylvia McLain, whom he married November 6, 1993; his three children, Nicole (Tim) Maxwell, Robert (Heather) McLain and Whitney McLain; his two grandsons, Avery McLain and Layne Yingling; his siblings, Linda (Barry) Rosenblatt, John McLain and Donna (Dave) Moore; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm.  Pastor Lisa Jenkins will officiate the service.  Full military honors will be provided by George Selsam VFW Post #1058, American Legion Post #29 and the US Navy Color Guard.
