David Eugene Lacey

David E. Lacey, 70 of Zanesville, was called home to his Lord on December 4, 2021.

Dave was born in Zanesville on August 21, 1951. He is the son of the late Andrew and Betty J. (Snyder) Lacey. Dave worked as roofer for Smith Roofing, and drove truck for Halliburton. He loved spending time working on cars, building things, and even coloring, but most especially, he loved spending time with his family.

Dave is survived by his daughter, Lori A. Lacey; his life-long friend, Tammy Smith, and her daughter, Natasha McDonald-Bland; his grandchildren, Shawntae Terrill, Kyle Valentine, Adrik Bland, Wyatt Bland, Jeorgia McDonald, and Jordie McDonald; his great-grandchildren, Aubree Winland, and Colten Winland; his sister, Cindy Lacey-Bailey; his niece, Tami Bailey; his nephew, Sam (Robin) Bailey; his great-nephew, Brett Bailey; his great-niece, Brittany Bailey; his potbelly pig, Tilly, and his three raccoons, Junior, Tiny, and Baby Girl.

In addition to his parents, Dave is preceded in death by his brother, Steven Lacey.

In keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation will take place and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Lacey family.
