Cynthia Sue Harris, 67 of Zanesville passed away peacefully at her residence.

Cyndy was born in Zanesville on June 11, 1957, to Frederick Cassady of Duncan Falls and Mary Jean (Seyerle) Cassady of Zanesville. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church Stovertown. Cyndy worked as a bartender at Don’s Café and VFW Post #1058. A devoted NASCAR fan, she also loved watching sports—especially cheering on the Cincinnati Reds and the Cleveland Indians.

Cyndy is survived by her two sons, Brody and Kaci Searls and Jordon Searls; her step-daughter, Jamie Searls; her grandchildren, Brayden Bleakney, Brynlee Searls, Kali Searls, and Anthony Searls; her brother, Donald and Rhonda Cassady; and her daughter in law, Lois Shipley.

Cyndy is preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Shipley; her paternal grandparents, Wilbur and Irene (Bush) Cassady; her maternal grandparents, Charles and Ruth (Ribble) Seyerle.

A celebration of life will take place 5 to 7 pm on Friday, May 16, 2025 at the Wayne Township Hall, 216 Bridge Street, Duncan Falls, Ohio 43734.
