Cruize J. Bitler, 20 of Zanesville, was taken too soon from this world in a tragic motorcycle accident on June 10, 2026.
Cruize was born on July 30, 2005, in Zanesville, to Brutis and Barbara (Edwards) Bitler.
He was a 2023 graduate of Philo High School. Cruize worked at the Dollar General Warehouse for two years. Though his life was far too short, Cruize made a lasting effect on many people in such a short amount of time. He had the natural ability to light up any room with his smile and personality, and he never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone.
Aside from scrolling Facebook Marketplace, creating art, freestyling raps, playing basketball, or working on his mechanical business, Cruize’s greatest passion was on the open road. He loved the freedom of his motorcycle and the excitement of the ride. His family was his light, and he loved his nieces and nephews more than anything in the world.
The love Cruize shared and the memories he created will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother and father, Cruize is survived by his maternal grandmother, Pam Edwards; his siblings, Hunter (Amanda) Wilson, Nathan (Ashley) Wilson, Samantha (Walter Thompson) Bitler, Alexandra (Cameron) Tedrick, and Abigail Moore; his treasured nieces and nephews, Laylie, Brantlee, Jax, Tucker, Eli, Delilah, Harley, Pheonixx, Karmen, Joel, Ellie, and one niece due in November; his special cousin, Rob Edwards; his high school sweetheart, Alli; as well as several aunts, uncles, and countless friends.
Cruize is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bob Edwards; his friend, Omar; as well as his beloved Kilo.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Cruize’s honor to help with funeral expenses. A check can made out to Farus Funeral Home and mailed to P.O. Box 488, Duncan Falls, Ohio, 43734.
Visitations for Cruize will be held from 3 PM to 7 PM on Monday, June 15, 2026, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A funeral service will be held the following day at 1 PM. Pastor Karen Osborne will officiate the service. Cruize will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
