Connie A. Triplitt-Garber, 78, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at Enclave at Cambridge Care Center.

Connie was born on September 5, 1947, in Morgan County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles F. and Estella M. (Rhodes) Triplitt. She was a 1965 graduate of Windsor High School in Morgan County and attended college in Marietta.

Connie devoted her life to caring for others. She worked at Winter House Nursing Home and Adams Lane Care Center as a Dietary Supervisor in the kitchen before retiring from Prime Care of Southeastern Ohio, where she worked as a medical transcriptionist.

She previously attended the Norwich Presbyterian Church. After her retirement, Connie enjoyed driving Amish women throughout the area, forming many lasting friendships along the way.

Connie had a love for animals, especially dogs, and even raised two orphaned baby groundhogs. She enjoyed gardening, tending to her beautiful flowers, reading, and was always eager to learn something new. Above all, Connie cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose greatest happiness came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Lori (Keith) Janssen, Michelle (Tracy) Mohr, Jason (Cassandra) Henning, and Chad (Carol) Hutchins; her grandchildren, J.D. Hiles, Ashly (Ryan) Rothenstine, Sean (Andrea) Hutchins, Travis (Layken Henderson) Mohr, Austin Henning, Alex Hutchins, Matthew Hutchins, Tyler Mohr, and Aiden Henning; her stepchildren, Tammy (Pete) Geyer, Tracy (Bill Ramsey) Garber, Tina (Steve) Rider, Troy (Heather) Garber, Gary Hutchins, and Daneen (Travis) Drabik; her two nieces, Kelly Huck and Holly Hann; along with numerous great-grandchildren, extended family members, and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel Henning, Fred Hutchins Jr., and Lester P. Garber, who passed away on March 21, 2026; her son, Darrin Hutchins; her grandson, Justin Hutchins; her stepson, Mike Hutchins; and her brother, Tanny Triplitt.

Family and friends are invited to visit from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Farus Funeral Home, 63 West Main Street, New Concord. Funeral services honoring Connie's life will begin at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Steele officiating. Connie will then be laid to rest beside her husband, Lester, at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in New Concord.
