Claudell A. "Tony" Hill

Claudell A. “Tony” Hill, 80 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, June 20, 2025, at Cedar Hill Healthcare Center.

Pastor Tony was born on September 15, 1944, in Benton County, Tennessee. He is the son of the late Clyde and Rachael A. (Cooper) Hill

Pastor Tony dedicated his life to sharing God’s truth as a Pastor, faithfully leading the Burns Church of God and Prophecy in Burns, Tennessee, until his retirement. He enjoyed studying his bible and preparing for sermons, but most especially spending time with his children and grandchildren. Pastor Tony was a cherished father, grandfather, and friend, whose memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Pastor Tony is survived by his daughters, Annette Lee of Lavergne, TN, and Denise Parks of Lavergne, TN; his sons, Leon Stinson of McEwen, TN, Scottie Lance of Hohenwald, TN; his eight grandchildren, including Renee (John) Hamilton, Stephen Lance, and Brandon Stinson; his great-grandchildren, Karter, Colton, Chloe, and Oliver; his few brothers; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, Pastor Tony is preceded in death by his wife, Billie Irene (Tidwell) Hill, whom he married on March 21, 1982, and who passed away on September 2, 2024.

A celebration of life will be on Thursday, June 26th at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Cornerstone Church. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Hill family.
