Clara E. Marple
December 26, 1942 — March 13, 2015
Clara Marple, 72 of Newark, passed away Friday, March 13, 2015 at Licking Memorial Hospital.
Clara was born December 26, 1942 in Zanesville the daughter of the late Harry Pride and Alice Roberts. She previously worked as a nurses aid before her illness.
Clara is survived by her children James Wise, Charles Marple Jr., and Angela Wreede all of Newark; her 12 grandchildren, 24 Great-grandchildren and her one great-great grandson and her five sisters Rita Smith, Judy Hanning, Dorothy Kimble, Susan Ryan, Starla Thomas and Imelda Bay.
In addition to her parents, Clara is preceded in death by her husband Charles Marple Sr.; her grandparents who raised her Clara and Walter Pride; her brothers Richard, Jackie, Jerry and Walter Pride and her sisters Mildred Archer, Mary Class, Virginia Rolland, Luella Clapper, Rhonda Hanning and Linda Gibson and one granddaughter Kayla Marple.
Visitations will be 5 to 7 pm Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where a Memorial Service will be held at 7 pm with Pastor Joe Rowland officiating.
