She was born in Zanesville on January 13, 1949, daughter of the late Clarence V. and Lyle Etta (Thompson) Pyle.
Cheryl retired from Plastech in 2009. She enjoyed listening to country music—especially George Strait—and was a proud member of the Buffalo VFW. She loved going to yard sales, tending to her flowers, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, visiting craft shows, and attending the Muskingum County Fair. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Missi (Greg Wycoff) Wickham and Heather Waller; her grandchildren, Zhen (Sierra) Hughes, Kourtney (Justin) Pipher, Kelli (Ian) Ignotov, Kolby (Vicki) McManaway, Kubota McManaway, Maddison Wycoff, and Gracie Wycoff; twelve great-grandchildren; and her sisters, Vicky Holt, Kay Eby, and Pam Murtha; brother-in-law, Larry (Marsha) Wickham; sisters-in-law, Hilda Glass and Twila Farber; several nieces and nephews; Cheryl also adored her orange tabby cat, Roo, and treasured her many friends at the Buffalo VFW.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer Wickham, who passed away on May 27, 2025; her sister, Pat Cubbison; her brothers, Bill Pyle and Frankie Pyle; and her in-laws, Herbert and Clarice Wickham.
In keeping with Cheryl’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time.
