Charles Knicely

Charles “Chuck” Knicely, 60 of New Concord, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Beckett House in New Concord.

Chuck was born in Zanesville on July 19, 1961.  He is the son of the late Glenn and Merle (Dennison) Knicely. He worked for the Village of New Concord for many years, and he proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Chuck is survived by his two daughters, Jessica (Scott) Mitchell and Victoria Knicely, both of Zanesville; his grandchildren, Samantha, Ethan, and Emily; his “son-in-law”, Larry Fouse; his siblings, Patsy (Larry) McCourt, Steve (Janie) Knicely, Roger (Joyce) Knicely, and  Jerry (Kay) Knicely.

In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his wife, Myra (Grimes) Knicely; his son, Robert Alan Knicely; his daughter, Connie Knicely; and his brother, Larry Knicely.

In keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time. Chuck will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery with Full Military Honors provided by George Selsam VFW Post #1058, American Legion Post #29, and the United States Army Honor Guard.
