Charles "Chuck" Baker

Charles Raymond Baker, 74 of Philo, passed away at 2:30 pm Thursday, May 30, 2013 at his residence. Chuck was born December 30, 1938 in Zanesville the son of the late Charles Ora & Thelma (Acheson) Baker. He worked as a journeyman structural ironworker out of Local #172 in Columbus, he was an avid fisherman and he served his country in the US Marine Corps. Chuck is survived by his wife Ruth (Roberts) Baker whom he married Sept. 22, 1960; his two sons Casey Baker of Duncan Falls and Mike Baker of Zanesville; his grandchildren Emily Cosgrave, Amanda Stewart, Joshua Baker, Jessica Baker and Jacob Baker and his great-grandchildren Kenley Cosgrave and Taylor Stewart. In addition to his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his daughter Pamela Baker and his sister Bonnie Jesse. A graveside memorial service will be held 11:30 am Saturday, June 8th 2013 in the Duncan Falls Cemetery with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating and with full military honors provided by George Selsam Post #1058. www.farusfh.com
