Catherine D. Kirkbride

Catherine D. Kirkbride, 91 of Malta, passed away peacefully at her home on December 16, 2021, while under the care of Shriver’s Hospice.

Cathy was born in Blue Rock, Ohio, on September 7, 1930. She is the daughter of the late Floyd and Effie (Bishop) Revenaugh.  She retired from Brockway Glass after 17 years.  She was a member of the American Legion Post # 4289 in Winter Haven, FL.  She enjoyed traveling and loved her many trips to Las Vegas.  She loved to go camping and also spending time with her family, and she was Baptist by faith. Cathy is survived by her two daughters, Connie (Gary) Strickland of Fl., and Kim (Brian) Minosky of Malta; her several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Cathy is preceded in death by her husband, Gale Kirkbride Sr., who passed away in December 2018; her son, Gary Weaver, Greg Weaver, and Jeff Weaver.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm, Monday, December 20, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Joe Rowland officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Oakland Cemetery, Stockport, Ohio.
