Carolyn Sue Toth

Carolyn Sue Toth, 70 of Duncan Falls, passed away suddenly on August 15, 2021 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room, following a brief illness.

Carolyn was born in Zanesville on July 31, 1951.  She is the daughter of the late Fred and Alma (Trout) McGee.  She was a 1969 graduate of Roseville High School.  She was a 30 year employee for the Franklin Local School District.  She worked the Roseville Elementary School for several years and currently was working at the Duncan Falls Elementary School as a teacher’s aide.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She could always be found at one of her grandchildren’s sporting events.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ed Toth Sr. whom she married June 15, 1969; her daughter, Tina Mershon; her son, Ed Toth Jr.; her grandchildren, Augusta (Zackary) Berry and Addison Mershon; her great granddaughter, Zara Berry; her siblings, Patty Drake, Larry (Marsha) McGee, Tom (Kathy) McGee, Marsha Archer, and Jean Shook.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her grandson, Austin Mershon; her brother Bob McGee, her infant sister, Audrey McGee; and her three brother-in-law’s, Don Drake, Warren ‘Hot Rod’ Archer, and Rodney ‘Spook’ Shook.

Visitations will be 5 to 7 pm on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday.  Pastor Jamie Harrop will officiate the service.  She will be laid to rest in the Stovertown Cemetery.
