Carolyn Sue Green

Carolyn Sue Green, age 78, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 31st due to pancreatic cancer and complications from pneumonia.

She was born November 17, 1942 in Cambridge, OH, the youngest child of the late Leland and Glenna (Gibson) Watson.  She graduated from New Concord High School in 1960 and subsequently married Donald E. Green on June 18, 1966. Carolyn lived a full life as a wonderful and devoted Christian, wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker.  She was a lifelong member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, New Concord.

Carolyn is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Donald E. Green of Norwich, OH;  a son, Brian and his wife Nancy with children Jason, Katherine, and Logan; a daughter, Dawna Lee and her husband Ross with son Colin; and siblings Kenny Watson, Martha Babcock, and Sara (Walter) Fox.  In-laws Marlene Watson, Nettie Grace Watson, Wanda Watson, Jane Craig, Louise (Bob) Farrar, David Green, and Judy Green.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded by her siblings Glenn (Phyllis) Watson, Roy Watson, Clyde Watson, Dean Watson, Richard Watson, Lena May (Gary) Claypool.  In-laws Pat Watson, Mary Louise Watson, Paul Babcock, Bob (Edith) Green, Bill (Rosie) Green, James Green, and John Green. Carolyn never wanted to be the center of attention, so her services will be private.  Friends and extended family wishing to honor her are invited to make a donation to a church or charity of their choice.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.  Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is handling the arrangements.
