Carol Ann Watson

Carol Ann (Snyder) Watson passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, May 12th, 2015 while in the care of the Beckett House; she was 69 years old.  She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on December 14th, 1945 to Ernest and Geneva (Garriott) Snyder.

She graduated from Cumberland High School in 1963, and married her husband, Frederick H. Watson on December 17th, 1966.  Carol enjoyed playing Bingo, cards, reading mystery and romance novels, rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with her friends, neighbors, and family.

Carol is predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Frederick, who passed away in 2001.  She is survived by her son, Greggory David (Linda) Watson, four grandchildren, Jacob Seukunian, Troy Watson, Kelsey Watson, and Kya Watson as well as one great-grandchild.  She also leaves to cherish her memory he siblings including, Charles (Ruth) Snyder of Cambridge, James (Marie) Snyder of Pomeroy, Oh, Jerry Snyder of Buena Vista, Virginia, Wanda (Steve) Barrett of Zanesville, and Carl D. Snyder of Norwich, Oh.  She will be deeply missed by her special friends, Mary and Wilma.

Friends and family may attend Calling Hours on Friday, May 15th at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord from 12 Noon to 1PM, services will begin promptly at 1PM; burial will follow at the Bloomfield Cemetery.  The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff of the Beckett House for their dedication and devotion to Carol’s care during her time there
