Carol Sue Vousden

Carol Sue Vousden, 76, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at Oaks at Northpointe.

Carol was born November 7, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio.  She is the daughter of the late Wilbur and Betty (Chambers) Roberts.

Carol worked as a beautician for several years and then for Zanesville Nursery where she retired. She raised two boys and after retiring she worked for Terra Cotta Vineyards and she also cleaned for the New Concord bed and breakfast. She formerly attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Zanesville, she enjoyed playing games with her family, and most especially she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Maria Vousden; her two grandsons, Cory and Seth and her granddaughter, Kaitlyn; she is also survived by her two sisters, Jean (Steve) Hampp and Debbie (Chuck) Pickinpaugh; brother, Paul (Donna) Roberts; her two brothers-in-law, Doug Vousden and Ab (Laura) Vousden, her sister-in-law, Susan Vousden, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, John Vousden, who passed away October 13, 2004; her son, Cory Vousden who passed away June 19, 1996; and brother-in-law, Jeff Vousden.

Visitations will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Friday, December 29, 2023  at  the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, December 30, 2023.  Judy Chambers will officiate the service and Carol will be laid to rest beside her husband and son in Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
