Carol L. Brooker

Carol L. Brooker, 70 of Claysville, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, at the Astoria Place in Cambridge.

Carol was born on October 6, 1954, in Newark, Ohio. She is the daughter of the late Gilbert D. and Mary Jean (Simms) Price. Carol had a deep, unwavering love for her husband, who was her everything. Together, they loved to hunt, fish, cook, and watch TV. Their bond was unbreakable and she will be deeply missed by her best friend. Carol also loved playing Bingo.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband of fifty-five years, Larry J. Brooker, whom she married on February 23, 1972; her three children, David A. Brooker, Sandra A. Brooker, and Sherry Y. Brooker; her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she cherished deeply; her five sisters and one brother; her friends, Bobby and Brenda; as well as her many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Carol is preceded in death by one sister and two brothers; as well as her beloved four-legged friends, Bri and Nikki.

In keeping with Carol’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place. The Farus Funeral Home of New Concord is caring for the Brooker family.
