Carl H. Garner Sr.

Carl H. Garner Sr., 77 of New Concord, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2023 at the Embassy Suite in Cambridge.

Carl was born on November 6, 1945  in Zanesville, Ohio. He is the son of the late Glenn and Edith (Hardy) Garner.

Carl is survived by his sons, Marty (Krista) Garner and Carl (Kelly) Garner Jr.; his daughter, Kandy (Bob) Knowlton; his grandchildren, Kyle (Allison) Garner, Reese Garner, Katie (Trevor) Goodman, Alex Garner, and Bobby Knowlton; his step-granddaughter, Kenzie Pierce; his great-grandchildren, Ellie Garner, Sophie Goodman, and Zayden; as well as his brother, Joe (Peg) Garner.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis (Bell) Garner, who passed away on January 16, 1971; his siblings, Larry Garner, Lloyd Garner, and Gail Dudley; as well as his granddaughter, Audrey Knowlton.

In keeping with Carl’s wishes, a caring cremation will take place.
