C. Delmar Tysinger

C. Delmar Tysinger, 88 of Blue Rock, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 12:59 am.

Delmar was born in Deavertown, OH. on May 3, 1928.  He is the son of the late Robert and Jocie (Rambo) Tysinger.  He retired in 1992 after 46 years with National Gas and Oil, but continued contract pumping for them until the fall of 2016.  He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, gardening and mowing.  He was a charter member of the Ponderosa Hunt Club and a Central Committee member for the Republican Party and he attended Westwood Baptist Church.

Delmar is survived by his wife Clara (Rayner) Tysinger whom he married June 14, 1948; his children Larry (Mary) Tysinger of Blue Rock, Terry (Debbie) Tysinger of Zanesville, Garry (Debbie Kay) Tysinger of Zanesville, Jerry (Liz) Tysinger of Blue Rock and Becky (Mike) Dodd of Zanesville; his grandchildren Teresa (Jay) Mathy, Tara (Stacy) Wilson, Chad (Amie) Tysinger, Shane (Jessie) Tysinger, Matt (Deann) Tysinger, Heather (Matt) Dingey, Aaron (Amber) Tysinger, Amanda (Craig) Evans, Adam (Celenna) Tysinger, Brett Tysinger, Jared Tysinger, Desiree Tysinger, Whitney (Josh) Paxton, Madison Dodd and Hannah Dodd; several Great-grandchildren; a brother and sister in law, Dean (Donna) Tysinger; a sister, Kay Hedges; a brother in law, Bob (Sandy) Rayner, a sister in law, Edith Rayner and a sister in law, Evelyn Tysinger.

In addition to his parents, Delmar is preceded in death by his brothers Robert J. Tysinger and John “Bill” (Donna) Tysinger and his sisters, Mary (Gerald) Reed and Betty (Clayton) Williams and brothers in law, Robert Hedges, Jerry Foster and Charles Rayner.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 1 to 5 pm on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held 10 am, Monday with Pastor Mark E. Ballmer officiating.  He will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
