Bruce D. Bartlett
January 16, 1966 — June 30, 2016
Bruce Dean Bartlett, 50, of New Concord, Went to be with Jesus on June 30, 2016 at 6:16 pm at the Morrison House after a long illness.
Bruce was born in Zanesville on January 16, 1966 at Bethesda Hospital. The son of Dale Bartlett and Lavonne Bartlett Marple. He worked at the Starlight workshop, he loved camping and Bruce competed in the Special Olympics. He also loved his calculators, calendars and maps. He was an Ohio State Buckeye fan along with his friends from the home. He was a member of the Anchor Church on Chamberlain Street of Zanesville.
Surviving are his birth mother Evelyn F. Wilson; his two brothers Raymond (Becky) Mauller Jr and Mark (Candy) Mauller Sr; two sisters Arta (Billy) Miller and Carolyn (Jim) GLadman all of Zanesville; many nieces and nephews and his best friend was Sandy Griffith which Bruce stated quite often.
Bruce is preceded in death by both his parents Dale Bartlett and Lavonne Bartlett Marple.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 11 to 1 pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm with Mark Mauller Jr. officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
