Brenda R. Hook

Brenda R. Hook, 66 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at Genesis Hospital on Monday, September 1, 2025, with her loving family by her side.

Brenda was born on July 3, 1959, in Zanesville. She is the daughter of the late Lloyd and Loretta E. Ferrell. Brenda devoted her life to caring for her home and family, always making sure they were well-fed and cared for. She enjoyed sewing, sipping Coca-Cola, and relaxing on her porch swing, but above all, she treasured the time spent with her beloved grandchildren.

Brenda is survived by her children, Jeffrey Sindeldecker, Clifford Hook (Melissa Findlay), Terry Hook Jr., and Kasie Vrbanac; her grandchildren, Chloe, Amythest, Rosalyn, Autumn, Cason, Blaze, Yonica, Zara, Toby, Tara, Frankie; one great grandchild on the way; her siblings, Dan Ferrell, Bill (Carol) Ferrell, Joyce (David) Drabik, Debi (Scott) Mingus, Rick Ferrell, and Tina (Mike) Bauserman; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her daughter, Katrina Ferrell, who passed away on July 1, 2018; her granddaughter, Daishawnia; as well as her son-in-law, Jason Vrbanac.

Visitations will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. No services will be held, and a caring cremation will follow.
