Beverly Lou Savage

Beverly Lou Savage, 85, of Zanesville passed away peacefully on April 29, 2024 at Adams Lane Care Center and under the care of Genesis Hospice.

Beverly was born in Zanesville on July 15, 1938. She is the daughter of Charles Douglas “Doug” and Doris H. (Morey) Sparkman. She previously worked as the manager of various restaurants in the Columbus area for over 55 years. She loved animals and enjoyed caring for her furry friends.  She was a Zanesville High School graduate and a lifetime member of the George Selsam VFW Post # 1058. She is survived by her husband, James “Jim” Savage, whom she married February 7, 1998; her children Lloyd Jordan, Christopher (Wyndy) Bunting, Shawn Noll, Melanie Von Gunten and Roma (Travis) Howes.  Beverly is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her first husband, David Boyer, who passed away in 1996; three grandsons, Scott Allen Bunting, Christopher Michael Bunting, and Charles Killian Bunting; a granddaughter, Sarah Beverly Bunting-McKelvey; and son-in-law, Daniel J. Von Gunten. She was Catholic by faith.

Private family services will be held with Fr. Ondrey officiating. Beverly will be laid to rest in Zanesville Memorial Park cemetery.
