Bernard Moore Lindamood

Bernard Moore Lindamood, 98, formerly of Philo, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, at Altercare of Zanesville.

On August 13, 1926, Bernard was born in Chandlersville, Ohio, where he was raised. He was the son of Willy and Genevieve Helen Moore Lindamood. Throughout his career, he worked at Ohio Ferro Alloy in Philo, Stambaugh's Lumber in Zanesville, and the Ohio Power Plant in Philo until its closure. Bernard had a passion for fishing and traveling, and he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Bernard is survived by his two daughters, Bobbi Jo (Louis) Bachman and Sheryl (Joseph) Nichols; his grandchildren, Staci (Jeff) Berry, Bryan (Samantha) Henderson, Tiphanie Warren, Charles (Dawn-Marie) Wood, Joseph (Tammy) Bachman, Josh Bachman, and Broxton Eastman; his 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Bernard is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Veyon) Lindamood, who passed away on June 24, 2007; his brothers, Kenneth Lindamood and Robert Lindamood; his sister, Edna Mae Lindamood; and his great-niece, Carlee Brown.

A caring cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home is caring for the Lindamood family.
