Bernard Leo Collopy

Bernard Leo Collopy, 93 of Zanesville passed away peacefully on Thursday, January, 19, 2017.
Bernard was born in Zanesville on January 24, 1923. He is the son of the late Leonard and Helen (Brooks) Collopy. He retired from Dura Corp after 32 years of service. He is a member of the FOE # 302 and St. Nicholas Church.
Bernard is survived by his wife of 72 years, Lillian G. Collopy, whom he married July 7, 1944; his four sons Michael Collopy, Stephen (Gloria) Collopy, Douglas Collopy and Gary Collopy; a son-in-law David Jones; a sister of or heart, Ruth Collopy; 19 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bernard is preceded in death by his daughter Linda Jones, his three sons Dannie (Linda) Collopy, Bernard “Leo” Collopy, Ronald R. (Annette) Collopy; his brother Russell “Eugene” Collopy and his sisters Violet “June” Fountain, Mary Alice Fitch and Celestra “Sis” Lunn.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 12 to 3 pm on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 3 pm with Father Martin Ralko as celebrant officiating.
