Bart Alan Van Wey

Bart Alan Van Wey, 63, of Zanesville passed away peacefully at Genesis Hospital on September 10, 2015.
Bart was born July 17, 1952 in Zanesville the son of Helen Mae (Johnson) Van Wey of Zanesville and the late Raymond F. Van Wey. He was an avid fisherman and he previously worked for AEP where he worked as an inspector.
Bart is survived by his daughter Amber Dawn Van Wey of Zanesville; the mother of his daughter Debbie Pletcher; brothers Blake Van Wey of Zanesville and Brad Van Wey of Nashport; his sister Mary Jane (Mark) Faulhaber of McConnelsville; his two nieces Dessie (Jason) Craig and Kelly Armbruster; his two nephews Clint (Michele) Van Wey and Joe (Debbie) Brewer and his special cat Nellie and dog Lucky.
In addition to his father, Bart is preceded in death by his sister Susie Brewer and an infant sister Sheila Van Wey.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be at 1 pm with Rev. Karen Osborn officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rose Hill Cemetery.
