Barbara Vivian Addy

Barbara Vivian Addy, 91 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at the Clay House in Zanesville where she made her home.

Barbara was born in Norwich on January 10, 1926.  She was the daughter of the late Preston and Audrey Addy.  Barbara was a dedicated employee of the Ohio Power Company for over 40 years.  She was a member of the Central Trinity Church in Zanesville.  Barbara loved her family with all of her heart.  She brought favorite dishes, laughter, continuous smiles and kind words to the family holiday gatherings and reunions.  Barbara was known to always be loving and supportive of her seven siblings.  Barbara (Aunt Vivian) will be forever remembered by her nieces and nephews as an extremely kind and cheerful soul.

Barbara is survived by her sister Marilyn (Gary) Adams of Zanesville; her nieces and nephews, Mike (Paula) Vernon, Jay (Judy) Addy, Jeff (Judy) Addy, Renee Addy, Candy (Jack) Frencho, Karla (Mike) Hruby, Sue (Steve) Denny, Julee Addy, Donnie Poole, Lisa Addy and Jeff (Betsy) Addy.

In addition to her parents, Barbara is preceded in death by her siblings, sister Eloise Vernon and brothers Karl, Delbert, Duane, Glenn and Kent Addy.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Zanesville.  A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
