Archie L. Rose

Archie L. Rose, 70 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2016 at Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville following a three month illness.
Archie was born in Crooksville on October 4, 1946. He is the son of the late Zeek and Opal (Estep) Anderson Rose. He was the owner of Rose Janitorial Services until his retirement in 2016; he also worked for the Army Recruiting office and for Longaberger for numerous years. He was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, and pool player and enjoyed playing in many leagues around the Zanesville area.
Archie is survived by his wife Debbie Sue Rose; his daughter Treasa Rose; his brother Joe (Renee’) Rose; his sisters Trudy (Kevin) McCoy and Helen (Larry) Knight; several nieces and nephews, his dear friend Walt Dearstine and his best friend Danny Riley Jr.
In addition to his parents, Archie is preceded in death by his brother William Rose and his sisters Carol Hurst, Patricia Rose and Rosa Marie Mock.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Archie from 11 to 1 pm on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 1 pm, Wednesday. He will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
