Angela Renee Shipley

Angela Renee Shipley , 42, of Columbus, passed away following a brief illness at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus on February 23, 2018. Angie was born in Zanesville on August 29, 1975.  She is the daughter of Jeff Shipley and Cyndy (Cassady) Harris.  She graduated Philo High School in 1993, she was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran Church of Stovertown.  She married her wife, Lois “Lowee” (Thompson) Shipley on June 3, 2016, on their 10th anniversary.  She was a wonderful care giver to Lois’s Uncle Bobby, she was an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Fan and she was very free spirited, she was spontaneous and was a loving and very caring person.

Angie is survived by her wife, Lois (Thompson) Shipley, her parents, her sister Jamie Searls of Zanesville; her brothers, Brody (Kaci) Searls and Jordan (Myranda) Searls both of Duncan Falls, Josh (Jody) Shipley and Shane (Jen) Shipley both of Zanesville; her maternal grandparents, Mary Jean Cassady of Philo and Fred Cassady of Duncan Falls; her paternal grandmother, Shirley Shipley of Roseville; her canine “son” Oreo; MommaG to Bransyn; several nieces and nephews and many very special friends.

Angie is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Tom Shipley.

A celebration of her life will be held from 1 to 5 pm, on Saturday March 3, 2018 at the Wayne Township Hall, 1 Bridge Street, Duncan Falls.  The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Shipley family.
