Andy D. Mullins

Andy D. Mullins, 75 of Philo, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the Adams Lane Care Center with his loving family by his side.

Andy was born on April 10, 1949, in Bluefield, WV. He is the son of the late Virgil and Effie (Dillon) Mullins.  Andy worked as an over the road truck driver for various companies over the years and he served his country in the US Army.

Andy is survived by his three children, Joshua Mullins, Jeremy Mullins, and Jessie (Dean) Faust; his grandchildren, Chloe Mullins, Cameron Faust, Riley Faust, Colt Faust, Joseph Bunfill, and Seth Bunfill; his siblings, Nancy (Jack) Charles, Ken (Jean) Mullins, Dan Mullins, Sam Mullins, Lynn Mullins; his aunt Connie; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Andy is preceded in death by his wife of thirty years, Lena (Deeter) Mullins, whom he married on June 28, 1975, and who passed away on February 27, 2006; his sisters Eula, Darlene, and Della; and his two brothers Ronnie and Donnie Mullins.

Visitations for Andy will be held from 11 to 1 on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. A funeral service for Andy will be held at 1 pm following visitations.  Reverend Darren Tolbert will officiate the service. Andy will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery where full military honors will be provided by George Selsam Post #1058 and the United States Army.
