Andrew W. Kopchak

Andrew William “ANDY” Kopchak, 91 of Chandlersville passed away peacefully at his home on February 28, 2018.

Andy was born in Zanesville on August 11, 1926.  He is the son of the late Onek and Edna (Lach) Kopchak.  He was a lifetime area farmer and he worked for Mosaic Tile Company in Zanesville and for the Franklin Local School District as a bus driver.  He was a member of the Zanesville congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Andy is survived by his wife, Betty Eileen Chiki-Kopchak; his children, Sandy (Martin) Higgins, Randy (Teresa) Kopchak and Bill (RuthAnn) Kopchak; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and his sister Helen Ellis.

Andy is preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Ellen Kopchak who passed away January 2, 1997; his son, Larry Lee Kopchak who passed away December 19, 2017; his sibling, Ann Shuey, Joe Kopchak, Walter Kopchak and Harry Kopchak.

A celebration of his life will be held at 3 pm, with visitations starting at 2 pm, on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, 1705 Pine Street, Zanesville.
