Alma Jean McIntosh, 89 of Avondale, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Cedar Hill Care Center and under the care of Hospice of Central Ohio on September 10, 2015.
Alma was born December 26, 1925 in Breathitt County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Kelly and Thelma Williams. Her greatest love was telling people about God’s Kingdom and its promises for future.
Alma is survived by her children Martha “Marty” (John) Madinger of Zanesville, Hollis (Beth) McIntosh of Avondale, Owen (Cinda) McIntosh of Crooksville and Timothy McIntosh of Lancaster; her brothers Carl and John Williams of Kingsport TN and her sister Peggy Barker of Jenkins, KY; her grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan, Alicia, Bruce, Mindy, Leah, Christopher, Rebecca and Amanda; 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Alma is preceded in death by the love of her life James O. McIntosh and her siblings Charles, Tommy, Paul Williams, Juanita Williams and Rosie Dingus and her grandson Nathan McIntosh.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday, September 12, 2015 with Ryan Tevis officiating, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1685 St. Rt 93, New Lexington, OH 43764.
