Alice M. Cain

Alice Marie Cain, 83 of Duncan Falls, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022, at 6:11pm while at her home and surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born in Sonora, Ohio, on October 8, 1938. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and Goldie (Reed) Fitzgerald. Alice enjoyed time with her family and her adventures in the food service and concession business for 25 years with her husband Cecil. She found joy in the many people she met at the fairs and events while serving them top quality food like the Super Tenderloin and Super Steak. Alice had a passion for cooking for her family and decorating her home.

Alice is survived by her husband Cecil Cain of 68 years; her son, Randy (Mindy) Cain; her daughter, Candi (Phil) Shirer; her grandchildren, Jessie Cain, Mollie (Mark) Back, Margo (Nathan) Asire, Stefan (Reece) Williamson; her 11 great-grandchildren, who left the biggest smile on her beautiful face; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; her wonderful sister, Cathy Miller; her faithful dog Thor, that will miss his best friend.

In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her brother, Donnie Fitzgerald.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Alice’s name to the Duncan Falls / Philo Lions Club, PO Box 337, Duncan Falls, OH, 43734.

Visitations will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, from 9 am to 11am, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held immediately following visitations at 11. Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate the service. Alice will be laid to rest in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
