Ada Joann Coder
January 10, 1931 — July 29, 2016
Ada Joann Coder, 85 of Blue Rock passed away on Friday, July 29, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
JoAnn was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 10, 1931 the daughter of the late David and Fanny (Hammond ) Adams. Joann was full of life and love.
Joann is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth L. Coder who passed away December 1, 2010; her sons Pete Coder, David Coder and Kevin Coder; her three brothers Arthur, David, and William Adams, and her sister, Bonnie (Adams) Pruitt.
Joann is survived by her two daughters Becky Coder of Newark and Joy Coder of Glenford, and a sister, Nancy Sparrow of Seabring, FL. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, her sister, her many nieces and nephews, cousins, her friend, Jill and the river people.
In keeping with her wishes, a caring cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Coder family. A memorial for Joann will be held on Sunday, August 7th, in which her family and friends are invited to attend. For information on its location please contact the family.
