Virginia "Ginny" Davis Miller

Virginia “Ginny” Davis Miller, 78 of Rokebe Lock, went to be with the Lord on January 30, 2019, at her home.

Ginny was born at her home in High Hill on November 24, 1940.  She is the daughter of the late T. Strahl and Mary (Frisbee) Paisley.  She was a 1960 graduate of Meredith Business College.  She retired from Muskingum County Children Services.  She also previously worked at The Mosaic Tile Company and for Muskingum Livestock Sales Company.  She was a member of the Blue Rock Baptist Church and she attended the Duncan Falls United Methodist Church.

Ginny is survived by her two children, Lori (Bryan) Vineyard and Dan (Kristina) Davis of both of Chandlersville; a son-in-law Rod Lashley of Fairfield; her grandchildren, Allison (Luis Rivera) Lashley, Sarah (Kip) Landenwitsch, Danielle Vineyard, Montana (Justin Smith) Davis, Megan Davis; her great-granddaughters, Emmalyn and Ellianna Landenwitsch; her stepchildren; Brad (Jean) Miller, Bart (Cathy) Miller, Brenda (Scott) Boetcher, Billie (Aaron) Browning; Brooke (Jeff Calendine) Miller; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; her siblings, Mildred (Carlos) Sears of Chandlersville.

In addition to her parents, Virginia is preceded in death by her first husband, Gary Davis, who passed away October 21, 2007 and her second husband, Karl Miller who passed away April 26, 2014 and her daughter Lisa Lashley who passed away April 10, 2012.

Visitations will be held 10 am to noon on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held at 12 noon with Pastor Karen Osborn officiating. A private burial will take place in Ark Springs Cemetery, Chandlersville.
