Skipper E. Pletcher, 60 of Cannelville, passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, September 8, 2018.
Skip was born in Zanesville on August 15, 1958. He is the son of the late Dammar James and JoAnn Pletcher. He was a logger for many years for Pletcher Logging and Wayne Logging. Skip loved spending time outdoors and just spending time with family and friends.
Skip is survived by his lifelong partner, Dorothy Bargar; his three sons Travis Pletcher, Toby Pletcher and Kip (Danielle) Pletcher all of Zanesville; his sister Tamara (Terry) Gassaway; his brother Roger (Michelle) Pletcher; his uncle, Bud Pletcher; five step-children, Misty (Bill) Utterback, Jeff Fisher, Shad (Patricia) Hiles, Shawn Hiles and Gary Evans Jr; his eleven grandchildren, Kody (Ashley), Alexis, Kylie, Logan, Kadden, Kinley, Kyle, Richard, Cordell, Camaurah, Cruze; and a very special person, Christy Newton.
In addition to his parents, Skip is preceded in death by a very special sister, Rhonda (Pletcher) Williams.
Visitations will be 4 to 6 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 6 pm with Pastor Steve Harrop officiating.
