Sandra J. Wilkins

Sandra J. Wilkins, 62 of Norwich, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Genesis Hospice.

Sandy was born in Zanesville on June 23, 1955.  She is the daughter of Dorothy (Mitchell) Beardsley of Norwich and the late Herbert Beardsley.  She previously worked for Lumilite Candle Factory then for Muskingum College and then Good Samaritan Hospital.  She loved spending time outside tending to her flowers and watching the humming birds.

Sandy is survived by her loving husband Charles Robert “Bob” Wilkins, whom she married Nov. 7, 1971; her son Ronald (Julie) Wilkins of Norwich; her grandchildren Cortlyn, Hunter, Storm, Breanne, Brooke, Brandon, Kaitlyn and Kaylee; her two sister Terry (Mike) Drushal of Chandlersville and Joy (Harold) Ross of Zanesville.

In addition to her father, Sandy is preceded in death by her brother Gerald Beardsley, her sister, Pamela Sue Roberts.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday, June 28, 2017 and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held 11 am on Friday with Pastor Roger Morrow officiating.  She will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
