Robert H. Wilson

Robert H. Wilson, 89, of Blue Rock, passed away on March 10, 2018 at Select Specialty Hospital in Newark.
Robert was born in Blue Rock on May 24, 1928. He is the son of the late Curtis H. and Myrtle (Revenaugh) Wilson. He was a lifetime area farmer, rural letter carrier, a truck driver for Meigs Township, a buyer for Banbury Wool Company, a sales associate for the Grace Fertilizer Company. He is a member of the Rural Dale United Methodist Church, where he served as Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent and much more. He enjoyed the word of God, training and working with horses, reading and being outdoors, and he especially loved spending time with his family.
Robert is survived by his wife, Zampa Wilson whom he married November 18, 1962; his children, Joyce (Buz) Bruce, Audra (Marty) Mock and Nancy (Brady) Randolph; his daughter-in-law, Tara Wilson; his grandchildren, Jared Bruce, Grace and Delaney Mock, Derek and Sara Randolph, Whitney (Vicki) Weiser and one great-grandson, Robert Weiser and his one sister Garnett Frame and sister-in-law Charlotte Nabb and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his son David R. Wilson who passed away October 9, 2016; his brothers, Howard and Marjorie Wilson and Donald and MaryLou Wilson and brother-in-laws, Donald Frame and Doug Nabb.
Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be 11 am on Wednesday with Pastor Karen Osborn and Melissa Wood officiating. He will be laid to rest in Blue Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
