Melanie Sue Glosser, 57 passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her residence.
Melanie was born in Zanesville on October 7, 1960. She is the daughter of the late Logan and Eunice (Hallgren) Taylor. Before her illness she worked for the Avon Distribution Center and previously at the Longaberger Company as a weaver for 15 years. She was a member of the Adamsville United Methodist Church, the Muskingum County Garden Club and the Adamsville Home Makers. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, wine making and caring for her animals.
Melanie is survived by her husband, Jesse Glosser, whom she married November 20, 2004; her daughter Shana Brooks of Houston, TX; her son, Corey (Nikki) Brooks of Liberty Township, Ohio; her step-children, Jesse Jr. (Tara) Glosser of Zanesville, Jordan Glosser of Columbus and Laycee Glosser of Zanesville; her grandchildren, Rylie, Kacie, Kyndel; her sister Karen (Randy) Shilling of Zanesville and her two brothers, Dwight (Debbie Kirsch) Taylor and Dean Taylor both of Chandlersville.

Visitations will be 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home, 383 Main Street, Duncan Falls. Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at the Adamsville United Methodist Church 8065 East Street, Adamsville, OH with Pastor Pamela Lashley officiating. She will be laid to rest in Heaven’s Gate Cemetery.
