Mark Kenneth Frick passed away on the evening of Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in the home of a dear friend, surrounded by his loving family and friends; he was 43 years old.  Mark was born in Zanesville on September 20, 1974 to Larry and Vickie (Callihan) Frick.  He was a farmer all his life, but did find time to work at both Suburban Steel and Miller Paving, he also worked for Madden Farms for over 15 years..  He graduated John Glenn High School in 1993; where he played baseball, football, and wrestled.   He was a fan of high school football, Ohio State football, riding 4-wheelers, watching NASCAR, traveling to Bristol, and fishing in Canada with his friends.  Mark made an impact in the lives of the many children, whom he mentored over the years.  He touched many lives, and brightened many souls with his selflessness and devotion. 

Mark is survived by his parents, his brother, Paul (Jessica) Frick, brother, Chad (Julia) Frick, his nephew, Charlie Frick, his aunt, Joan (Bud) Myers, Aunt Sharon Esmont, numerous cousins, and the many children that he had mentored.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank H. and Lois Frick, and grandparents, Robert Callihan and Colleen Woodward, and his uncle, Paul Lee Frick. 

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Mark at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM.  Calling hours will resume on Monday the 4th from 10 to 12 Noon.  Services will begin at Noon, with Keith Taylor officiating, and burial will take place at Salt Creek Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
