Mack Moore Obituary

Mack Elbert Moore passed away in his home on Monday, April 30th, 2018; he was 64 years old.  He was born in Guntersville, Alabama on April 10th, 1954 to Mathew and Kathleen (Havis) Moore.  He proudly served in the United Marine Corps., and for over 31 years he considered himself a travellin’ man.  He made numerous friends in the village of New Concord, and was a member of the East 40 Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Kenny Moore and R.L. Moore.  He is survived by his siblings, Wallace Havis, Nellie Moore, Arble Law, Mary Sherffield, Cherry Burgess, Byron Moore, and Travis Moore.  He will be deeply missed by his friends at the East 40 Church of Christ and Evergreen Village, including his special friends, Kathy German, Terri Slack, Denita Hursey, and Pamela Robinson.  He also leaves to treasure his memory numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

A caring and comfort filled cremation will be carried out by the Farus Funeral home of New Concord, and a burial of ashes will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.  His friends would like to provide a very special thank you to the New Concord Police Dept., the New Concord Fire Dept., The folks at Northside Pharmacy, and the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord for their help and compassion.
