Leonard Corprew Lucas

            Leonard “Luke” Corprew Lucas, 72, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 while at the Southeastern Medical Center of Cambridge.  He was born on February 15, 1946 in Columbus, Ohio and was adopted by Leo and Susy (Corprew) Lucas.  He became a resident of the Cambridge Developmental Center on June 26, 1989 and immediately became a part of their extended family.  Leo enjoyed working, cleaning, arranging and loved to look nice.  He loved to look at magazines and show you pictures as a means of communicating. Leonard was well loved by the staff and residents at the developmental center, and considered them to be his home and family.  He will be missed by all who knew him, and his memory will be cherished.

Friends may attend calling hours for Leonard at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Friday, June 21, 2019 from 11 to 1PM.  A service will be take place at 1PM, and burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery.  Services will be officiated by Pastor Joe Dunlap.
